Parallel versus Turn Out (Pilates V). In this video we are focusing on how the femur bone (thigh bone) has the ability to rotate without the pelvis. Understanding the movement of the bones will allow more freedom in the hip joint as well as going into Pilates V correctly. It also touches on how the humerus ( top bone of the arm) also has the same movement pattern, rotation. This isn't a sweaty workout but very deep work. If you have knee pain or hip pain it can be cause by not moving the bones in the rotation it needs. Could your feet be turned out and your knees facing forward? yes, they could be and that will put stress on the knees.
